Recycling Collages – Maya Rosenberg

In this workshop students will create collages using recycled materials but with a focus on colors and shapes found in nature. Learn how to build a healthy relationship with nature, respect it and celebrate it with art.

Time Required:

1-4 hrs depending on difficulty and size of project

Material Required:

Recycled materials (magazines, plastic, cardboard, etc.), glue. Optional: Paint (pastels, watercolors or acrylic), brushes, buttons.

Material Cost:

Artist will supply material if needed at cost.

Maya Rosenberg

Maya was born and raised in Israel. She has traveled to the United States, Canada and Europe. She moved to Whitehorse in August 2014 and is currently a board director at the Yukon Art Society, teaching art workshops across the Yukon Territory, coordinating and teaching community engagements projects and exhibiting in various art galleries across Canada. Maya’s art is inspired by nature and its rejuvenating qualities. She uses colour to reflect the connections between art, our communities and nature.
