Ashlyne Bigg has been performing since the age of 12 in the Yukon Territory - dazzling her audiences with her musical theatre skills and numerous talents.

Ashlyne’s performing career really took off after she graduated from the Canadian College of Performing Arts in Victoria, British Columbia in 2003. She was hired as fiddler, step-dancer, and highland dancer for a renowned Canadian company out of Victoria - The Spirit of a Nation.

In 2004, deciding to head home to the Yukon, she worked with the Frantic Follies as a Can-Can dancer, a singer and musician; playing several instruments including the fiddle, stand-up bass, trumpet and banjo! In later years, Ashlyne was promoted to the position of Dance Captain with the Follies.

In 2005 Ashlyne had the pleasure of being sought out for the well-known “Charlottetown Music Festival, Young Company” in Prince Edward as their featured fiddler and step-dancer.

In the years of 2006 to 2008, Ashlyne was hired by the Theatre Royal in Barkerville B.C. There she was the troupe’s fiddler and step dancer. Ashlyne also allured her audiences with the Theatre Royal’s two road tours, traveling to every corner of British Columbia.

Today, Ashlyne is still found around Whitehorse and at the Frantic Follies entertaining the crowds with her fiddle, step dancing, musical theatre and comedic skills!
